Lake Maggiore
Lake Maggiore is 250 km2 and lies 80% in Italy and 20% in Switzerland.
On its shores there are delightfully romantic towns full of life as well as a group of chapels Sacro Monte di Ghiffa which are among the UNESCO world cultural heritage sites. Nature lovers, those who enjoy walking and water, find a place for pausing and discovery on Lake Maggiore.
